Acer palmatum 'Katsura'

This Japanese maple has a pale orange-yellow spring foliage which fades to medium green at the begin of the summer. The soft oranges and yellows return during the fall leaf drop. It develops the best spring and fall foliage color when planted in full sun to open shade. Katsura is very resistant to the sun during the summer, but you should often give it water during dry weather to help maintain the tree at its best. This three will be beautiful in small gardens and large patio containers.
