Acer negundo 'Flamingo' is a medium sized shrub or small tree, the plant is also known under the name of Californian Feather Maple. Like many other Acer he is by his dimensions suitable for smaller gardens and very popular with bonsai enthusiasts when it is pruned enough. It grows quite fast and has a rounded crown, variegated, with odd-pinnate leaves silver white with pink edge in autumn yellow, discolored brown. It does well in all soil types, but it's recommended to plant it in a ground that is slightly acidic for the best possible growth. Plant it in a nice sunny pot or at a location with partial shade also. Hardy, but shelter from wind is recommended. Is also resistant to atmospheric pollution.
